ADSL earned their first win of the 2018 campaign with a come from behind victory over the first place Padres. ADSL jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the third but gave it right back and more in the bottom of the inning, ignited by a two run opposite field homer off the bat of Wanderson Pinales. ADSL took back the lead for good in the sixth by scoring four runs with two outs in the frame. From there, Nick Kinsella shut the door on the powerful Padres lineup. Offensively, ADSL was led by Matt McKinley (1-2, 3R), Kyle Bourdrias (3-5, 2R) and Ross Golebiewski (2-4). Jordan Aucoin pitched well in his BPL debut, giving ADSL four solid innings. Kinsella picked it up from there throwing three hitless innings to record his first victory of the season.
