On offense, the A's were disciplined, taking free bases as they were given and getting to the bull-pen early. The A's didn't stop there as they went on to score 6 more runs against the relief, giving Rey more than enough support to finish off the win.

The A's come out of the gate hot with a 3-spot in the top of the 1st, and then never looked back as they went on to rout their foes 15-4. Kasey Kirby gave up 2 in the 1st, and then settled in to pitch 5 strong innings scattering only a few more hits. He would have plenty of run support as the A's turned in a top to bottom effort at the plate scoring with ease as the night went on.

A's come out on top after 4 lead changes, and an early deficit. Cam Fiorentino settled in and pitched a solid 5.2 innings, turning in a gutsy veteran performance. He kept the A's within in striking distance, and that's exactly what they did. After a slow start, and a 5 run 4th, the A's were down 1 going in to the bottom of the 6th. The bats squirted 2 across and gave Dan Gaughan all the cushion he'd need to sneak in for his second win of the season and to cap off a good week for the A's.
