Henry Spitzer launched a 3-run homer over the left field fence at Somerville's Trum Field to give the Hornets a 4-3 victory. Lacking any of the usual starting pitching, Savin Hill relied on 2B Alex Criscuolo and CF Dave Clark to keep the game close. Nate Hodor pitched the final two innings, tight-rope walking to his second save of the season and the week. He walked 2 and another reach on an error, but didn't allow a hit. Saint batters, Paul Larocque and Bryan Evans each had 2 hits a piece. For Savin Hill, Pat McClay and Henry Spitzer each collected 2 hits.
