The neighborhood rival Savin Hill Hornets and McKay Club Beacons locked heads for another pitcher’s duel at McConnell in just three short days. The Beacons prevailed by the same score as Sunday 2-1. Different tossers were on the bump for each team of course. Eric MacIver (0-1) got the call for the Hornets. Eric pitched 6 innings; allowed 2 runs on 5 base hits.
