Only thing this one missed was the large number of female fans Savin Hill had in the stands at Saturdays game....a great YBL game at McConnell that had a playoff type feel. Minutemen get the lead, a few times, but Hornets always came back. Tie game late, Carrera guns down the would be go ahead run at the plate. Next inning, Christman's broken bat single puts Brighton up. Hornets tie it in the bottom half but Minutemen's right fielder answers, Levensaler throws out would be go ahead run at the dish. Brighton plates 2 in 7th and almost a 3rd run.....close play at the plate, Mori tagged out by a diving Hodor who had recovered a wild throw from the backstop. For Minmen, Kevin Zylka pitches well and Sam Hyun gets the win. Barthel remains hot going 2-3 with a missile double.
