The Knights traveled to King Field on Sunday to face off against the Savin Hill Hornets in game one of a doubleheader. Taking the mound for the Knights was Felipe Barahona. He would face off against Brain Rizzo on this hot and steamy afternoon. The Hornets short of pitching kept this one close. Brian Rizzo a position player making his first start of the season for the Hornets impressed by throwing strikes. The Knights scored first taking a 1-0 lead in the first but the Hornets quickly stuck with one of their own in their half of the inning tying the score at 1. The Knights again would score but to the tune of three to take a lead they would never give back. Barahona allowed only 1 earned run through 4 innings of work and that would be good enough for his first Yawkey League win ever.
