The Spinners made it three wins in a row with a 2-0 win over the Cutters. Luc Kocher pitched five shutout innings, giving up for hits while striking out five. Dan Blum pitched in relief for an inning and Pat Clapp picked up the save. The lone runs came for Cambridge in the fifth, when Greg Megerdichian singled and later scored on a Matt Gioia single. Bob Maccioli reached base in the same inning on a hit by pitch and later scored on an Isaac Valdiviezo single. Four Cutters had singles in the losing effort. They loaded the bases in their half of the fifth but the Spinners defense kept them off the board.
