The Spinners advanced to 4-0 on the season with a 6-2 win over the Cutters Thursday night. Down 2-0 in the fifth, the Spinners scored six unanswered runs on the field where they clinched last year's championship the previous September. Peter Alain and David Peretti scored two runs apiece, while Isaac Valdiviezo, Mike Tufo and Colin Sullivan each had two hits. Luc Kocher came on in relief to pitch three innings of shutout ball with five strikeouts. Pat Clapp came on in the seventh to close out the game. Jay Thomas had three hits for the Cutters and scored a run, while Ryan Bere added a hit and a run of his own in the losing effort.
