On a nice afternoon for baseball, the Expos scraped together a Saturday lineup with 2 relief pitchers, and when all said and done the expos grinder out a win.
Relief pitcher turned starting first baseman, Dan Dorman, came through in the clutch going 1-3 2RBI on the day. George Chaya had the only multiple hit game on the day for the expos (2-4 RS, RBI, SB)
Relfin Jiminez got the start on the mound and battled through 5 innings(5H, 4ER, 2K) while relief pitcher Ryan Cloutier came in for two innings and stole the win(2IP, 2H, 3K)
Drew Crowley started for the Bulldogs and turned in a quality start (4IP, 3H, 4R, 2ER, 3BB, 4K) in the no decision. Ian Born went 1/4 with a two run double. Mike Sibert 1/1 2BB, R. Nana Adu 1/2 RBI, BB, R.
Expos improve to 3-2-1 on the season. Next up for them are the Andre Chiefs Monday night @ Maplewood.
