Aztecs took the lead late in the game in a 7-4 victory over Rockland on Sunday. The game was tied at two with Aztecs batting in the top of the fifth when Bryant Salkind tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.
In the second inning, Rockland got their offense started when Parsons doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
After Aztecs scored one run in the top of the seventh, Rockland answered with one of their own. Aztecs scored when Nic Notarangelo's sac fly scored one run for Aztecs. Rockland then answered when New's sac fly scored one run for Rockland.
Mike Kennefick was the winning pitcher for Aztecs. The hurler allowed two hits and two runs over two innings, striking out two. Gio Arzuega threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Ryan McGahern started the game for Aztecs. The pitcher went three innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out six
