Nick Powers throws a complete game shutout to win a pitcher's duel at Recreation Park Powers struck out 11 Townies, while scattering 4 hits to earn his first win of the season. Brendan Pittsley earned the tough luck loss, as he was great all afternoon, striking out 6 Sabers. The Sabers would score their only run in the 3rd. Barnes would lead off with a walk and then steal second base. Sharpe would hit a hard grounder to move Barnes to 3rd, who would later score on a passed ball. In a day where mother nature did not cooperate, Rec Park continued to be the most reliable field in amateur baseball.
