Kevin Keith (4-0) was stellar once again on the mound for the Braintree White Sox. He tossed 5 scoreless innings while giving up only one hit. Down 3-2 heading into the top of the 7th, Marshfield manufactured 2 runs to take the lead 4-3. In the bottom frame - Matt Kelly led off the inning with a crucial double down the line for Braintree. Troy Shepherd moved him over to third with a sac bunt and Sean Keady plated Kelly with a sac fly to center, tying the game. Mike Muir then stepped up to the plate with 2 outs and cranked a walk-off homer to right field. Sam McKay got the start for the White Sox, tossing 5 innings of one-run ball. PJ Browne pitched the 6th and 7th innings, earning the late come-from-behind win.

Kevin Keith got the start for Braintree - picking up the win. Canton A's jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the 2nd until the White Sox picked up 7 in the bottom half, led by a grand slam by Sox outfielder Mike Muir. The A's crawled back to make it 8-6 in the 6th but an insurance RBI sac fly by Sox catcher Ricky Smith in the bottom frame proved to give enough cushion.
