In one of the wildest games in finals history, the Cambridge Spinners beat the Boston Sox 11-7 in Game 3 after eight innings and four days of play. Down 6-0 early, the Spinners rallied for three runs in the third and fourth innings and forced extra innings with a run in the sixth.

With rain coming in the eighth, Matt Gioia hit a bases-clearing triple to give Cambridge the lead for the first time. Ryan Gaffney had three hits and drove in three runs. Cambridge recorded eight doubled against Boston pitching.

Pat Clapp got the win in relief, pitching three innings with two strikeouts. Pat Donahue started the game, striking out two.

The Sox offense was led by Ryan Foley, who had three hits and scored three runs.

The Cambridge Spinners take game one of the finals 4-2 over the Boston Sox in Lynn. Down 2-1 in the seventh, the Spinners rallied for three runs to take the lead. Mike Navarro hit a bases loaded single and drove in two runs to put Cambridge in front. Ryan Feeney reached base on a walk and scored on an error for an insurance run.

Chris Muse-Fisher got the win, going six innings and striking out eight. Pat Clapp came on in relief for the save.

Moises Maza and Ryan Foley scored both Sox runs in the fifth and Hector Ramirez pitched a complete game with ten strikeouts.

Sox roll to their 15th win of the season with a 19-0 victory over the Singing Surgeons at Breed. Sox jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first and never looked back. Omar Ortiz, Marcos Reyes, Eric Rodriguez, and Will Peterman combined to go 8 for 12 on the day with 10 RBI and 10 runs scored.

Gabriel Ramirez was in cruise control from the start allowing only one hit over 4 innings, striking out 5 on his way to his league leading 8th win of the season. A perfect relay from Brendan Pounds to Ryan Foley gunned down the final out of the game at the plate, preserving the shutout and finalizing an early stoppage after 5.

Sox are back on the diamond in Middleboro at Pierce Playground to take on the Red Sox on Saturday at 1pm.

The Sox rally from behind for a dramatic 7-5 win in Quincy over the Grays. Tom Plumitallo kept the Sox off balance all day as the Grays built a 5-1 lead through 5. But the Sox bats rallied in the 6th with back to back doubles by Ryan Foley and Omar Ortiz followed by big two out back to back doubles by Will Peterman and Yunior Gonzales and the game tying two out single on a 3-2 count by Mike Lembo.

The Sox added two more in the top of the 7th and Gabriel Ramirez struck out the side in the bottom of the frame to earn his league leading 7th win.

Boston Sox continue rolling through the regular season with a 8-1 win over the Surgeons at Breed. The combined effort of the Sox staff was the story of the night with 5 Sox pitchers accumulating 13 strikeouts over 7 innings.

Javy Santana and Omar Ortiz paced the way for the Sox at the plate, contributing 2 hits and 2 runs apiece.

Sox are back on the diamond for two next week including Thursday night at Breed against the Snappers and Saturday afternoon at Coletta in Quincy against the Grays.

The Boston Sox complete the season series sweep of the defending champ A’s with a 10-0 win at Fallon field. The Sox lineup was hot from the start, jumping out to a 7-0 lead in the first inning and never looking back. Every player had at least one hit as the squad accumulated 16 total knocks on the day. Eric Rodriguez paced the way with a 3 for 4 outing while Jake Perkins plated two big runs to break open the game in the first.
Inheriting a 7-0 lead before throwing a pitch was far more than Seth Perkins would need on the hill. Perkins cruised to the win, going the distance for the Sox, allowing only 2 hits, no runs, no walks, and striking out 6.
The Sox end their 4 game in 7 day stretch 3-0-1 extending their league best record to 12-1-1. Sox will return to the diamond on Thursday night against the Singing Surgeons at 8pm in Lynn at Breed Middle School.

The Sox closed out the win of the season series with the Spinners with a commanding 7-3 win at Maplewood. Omar Ortiz continued a torrid pace at the plate with two RBI from his 2 for 3 night and the Sox advanced aggressively on the bases in front of him, stealing 6 total bases.
Gabriel Ramirez earned a league leading 6th win going the distance, scattering 6 hits, 3 walks, and 2 earned runs, striking out 6.

Boston Sox complete the season series sweep with an 11-2 win over the Newton Dodgers at Breed Middle School. With pointed control of the 12 to 6 breaking ball Dave Giarrusso was masterful on the bump for the Sox, allowing no earned runs, no walks, 6 hits, and fanning 7 over 5 innings.
The Sox lineup proved relentless, banging out 12 hits.

John Heim capped the night with a perfect 7th inning, striking out the side.

Boston Sox kicked off 4 games in 7 days with a lackluster effort at Healy Field in Roslindale resulting in a 6-6 tie with the Middleboro Red Sox. Yunior Gonzalez contributed a big two out single plating two runners to take the lead early but the Red Sox continued to chip away with patient at bats and timely late hitting to tie the game.
A trio of Red Sox pitchers were able to keep the Boston Sox off balance at the plate, allowing only 5 hits and striking out 8 over 6 innings.
Game called after 6 innings due to Healy Field light rules.

Sox avenge their only loss of the season with a 3-1 win over the Spinners at St Peter’s Field in Cambridge. Jon Shepard was brilliant going the distance for the Sox striking out 9 and allowing only one run. Javy Santana paced the offense for the Sox going 3 for 4 with a line drive solo home run to left center.

Chris Muse Fisher posted another strong outing despite taking his first loss of the season striking out 6 in 5 innings of work.

Sox return to the diamond on July 9th after the 4th of July break against the Middleboro Red Sox in Roslindale.

After a lackluster effort against the Spinners handed the Sox their first loss of the season the Sox get back in the win column with a tough 6-5 win over the Snappers. Eric Rodriguez lined a 2-2 pitch into centerfield to score Marcos Reyes from second base in the bottom of the 7th for the Sox second walk off in three games. The Sox battled back from an early 4-0 deficit to take a 5-4 lead only to have BJ Neil score the tying run on a long triple and throwing error on an 0-2 count with one out in the top of the 7th.

Four pitchers took the mound for the Sox, with Donnell Hightower and Juan Carlos Ulloa delivering 2 innings each of no hit ball with 4 total strikeouts.

Reyes continued his hot start to the year going 3-4 with two runs and an RBI while MABL batting leader Jake Perkins added a 2-4 day with an RBI.

Joe Perna went the distance for the Snappers in a losing effort, consistently pitching out of jams and limiting big inning

The Spinners handed the Sox their first loss of the season with a 9-0 victory in Lynn Thursday night. Chris Muse-Fisher earned the win, pitching six innings and striking out ten. Pat Clapp came on in relief in the seventh to retire the side and preserve the shutout.

Cambridge scored in the third when Mike Tufo and Dan Caceres reached base on Boston errors and Tufo scored on a balk. Mark Killoren scored twice and Ryan Feeney drove in two runs. The defense of Ryan Gaffney and Mike Knell helped keep the Sox off the board.
