The Sabers would get on the board first on a RBI single by Chapman to score Flanagan. Colucci would follow with a sac-fly to plate Agiorgousis. Quezada would then smash a very deep 2 run shot to centerfield for an inside the park homer to break the game open early.

The Townies would battle back with 3 of their own in the top half of the 4th.

The Sabers would get two back in the 5th on a RBI single by Lenane and Lenane would later score on a throwing error after a Quezada double.

The Townies would plate another on a O'Connor triple. They would threaten again in the 7th, but Brundige would hold them off to earn the Save.

Lumb earned the win for Stoneham pitching 6 solid innings.

Tommy Lenane's RBI single, helps Sabers edge Townies 5-4

The Townies would get on the board first on an O'Connor RBI single to score Santilli who laced a double to start the game.

The Sabers would battle back with 4 runs in the 4th. Lenane with hit a RBI triple to score Flanagan. Powers, Agiorgousis, and Cave would all have RBI singles to plate Lenane, Powers and Colucci.

Gonzalez's RBI single in the 6th would tie the game for the Townies.

In the 7th, Rice would sacrifice bunt and Pizarro would take advantage of nobody covering the bag to take third as well. Lenane would then hit a game winning RBI single to left field.

Powers got the start for Stoneham and pitched 5.2 solid innings. Agiorgousis would come in relief in the 6th, to shutdown the Townies who were threatening with runners on the corners. Agiorgousis would pitch a shutout 7th to earn the win.

Esdras Rojas throws 6 strong innings handing it off to Leighton Helleberg for the 7th.

Anthony Baez went 2 for 4 on the day.

Brayan Then was on base 3 of 4 times with a double 2 stolen bases, and 2 runs scored.

Brad Presler went 2-4 with 2 stolen bases and 2 runs scored.

All in all, it was a great win with great team chemistry.

Jason Berger knocked in two with a two out single in the first and was the catalyst to the fifth inning rally with a bunt hit. J. Berger finished 3-3 with 2 runs and 2 RBI in the W.

Souza went the whole way for the Townies, allowing 7 runs, all earned in the loss.

The Sox hang on to pick up their first win of the 2017 season. Mickey Donnelly pitches 5.1 innings giving up only two hits while striking out ten en route to his first YBL win.

Offensively for the Sox Will Cousins and Ross Zamparelli each had three hits, while Tim Varakis and Joe Loynd each had two hits.

For Charlestown, Devin Santilli and Pat Garvey would each have two hits. On the mound Santilli would hold the Sox hitless for the final 3 innings giving Charlestown a chance to get back into the game.
