The Cambridge Spinners stopped all hopes of a White Sox comeback by defeating Boston 2-1 to win game five and the semi-final series three games to two. Chris Muse-Fisher pitched a complete game, giving up one run on four hits while striking out six.

Cambridge scored both of their runs in the bottom of the second inning. Mike Navarro singled to lead off the inning and later scored on a Peter Alain single. With the bases loaded, Colin Sullivan drew a walk that brought in Ryan Feeney.

The White Sox took the lead in the top of the first, when Rommel Peguero singled and later scored on a Marcos Reyes single. Seth Perkins pitched a complete game with four strikeouts.

A's fight back in last frame to steal a victory

The A's scored 4 runs in the top of the 7th to snag the win against the White Sox. Vadala and O'Keefe started the inning with 1B's, and then Mahoney reached on an error that made the score 4-2. Donaruma then ripped a 2RBI double to deep center to tie the game. Warren Asdornvuittikrai then gave the A's the lead with an RBI single.

The White Sox would threaten in the bottom half. They took advantage of 2 A's errors and a walk to load the bases. With the winning run on 2nd, Breidenstine got the strikeout to end the rally, and the game.

It was a very clean game throughout, with both teams playing solid defense until the last frame. Perkins threw another gem for the White Sox, going 6 innings and giving up only 1 ER while striking out 8. Ortiz also had 2 hits, including a 2B. For the A's, Muollo had 2 key stolen bases, and an RBI single.

The A's rode the arm of Brett O'Keefe to a 3-1 victory over the White Sox at Ryan on a steamy afternoon. O'Keefe was on all day, while striking out 3 and keeping the Sox off-balance at the plate.

The A's got on the board in the first, when Jordan Krall smashed a long fly to right and rounded the bases for a home run.

The White Sox threatened in the 4th, with runners on 1st and 2nd and one out. Francis Reyes smoked a line drive destined for a single, but Krall snagged it, and doubled off the runner at first to end the inning. In the bottom half of the inning, Matt "Buddha" Asdornvuttikrai would hit one to the fence in left, driving in his brother Warren, and rounding the bases himself for a homer. Warren, however, was not impressed with his brother's heroics.

Perkins was impressive in the defeat, throwing 5 innings and striking out 6 in the effort.
