Mike McCarthy picks up complete game win for the Rockies.

Rockies get 2 in the first on a bases loaded double by Nate Laliberte. They touch Fioretti up for another run in the 3rd on a Sean Glavin RBI Single.

Mike McCarthy escaped several jams. In the first Somerville had runners on 1st and 2nd w/ 1 out, w/ Somervilles 4 and 5 hitters due up. McCarthy buckled down and retired DesRoches and Crisafulli on back to back strike outs to end the threat.

Somerville battled all night and had the bases loaded w/ 2 outs in the 7th down 1 run, but Puma was able to get Chad Conner to ground out to end the game.

Tom Levett picks up the win.

Story of the day was the Rockie Veterans leading the way. Dave Mitrou appeared in his first game at catcher since little league back in 1979. Not only was he solid behind the dish, he went 2-4 w a dbl and rbi. Brian Cooper, another of the oldies, strokes 3 hits and knocks in 2 to help the Rockies pick up the win. He was asked after the game if it was difficult to sit most of the year and to see live action for the first time in months, Cooper said "no I attribute it to my baking skills, I use my hands alot when I bake cakes and cupcakes, I even make my own Italian Sausages so I am always using my hands and as you know your hands are key when hitting, so that helps."

Revere scores 4 runs in the 1st highlighted by a 2 run double by Brian Misci. Brighton answered with a solo shot in the bottom of the 1st by Shaughnessey.

Game from there was a back and forth battle with the Revere Rockies coming out on top.

Aj Bucciarelli, Nate Laliberte and Sean Glavin were a combined 10-13 w 6 runs scored, 4 rbi's and 3 stolen bases.

Rockies score 1st on a 2 out double by Chris Santosuosso to score Laliberte. Rockies push 3 more across in the 2nd and 2 more in the 3rd highlighted by a Brian Misci double to left center knocking in 2.

Game called in the top 7th due to several South End ejections, preventing them having enough guys to finish the game.

Sox come from behind in the seventh, to pull out a hard fought win against a very solid Revere ball club.

JT Ross goes the distance to earn the win. Troy Sainsbury pitched very well for six innings, before giving way to Marshall Miller who suffers the loss.

In the top of the seventh with one out Nick Jones tripled to center, Bill Reichmann drew a walk. Steve Tramontozzi drove in Jones and pinch runner Marc Massarotti with a triple to left field.

Anthony Bucciarelli tripled to lead off the bottom of the seventh, but failed to score as JT Ross induced ground balls to short, second and first to end the game.

Kevin Christina throws a complete game 4 hitter, retiring 12 in a row at one point to help propel the Rockies to the Win.

Medford touched up K.C for a run in the 1st on a sac fly by Dilaney. K.C then settled down and retired the next 2 batters to get out of the inning w/o any further damage.

All was quiet for the Rockies bats until the 6th inning when w 1 out Nate Laliberte and Sean Glavin knocked back to back singles. Ned Coffee, pinch hitting for Greg Crossman, followed w a double to straight away centerfield to score Nate to tie the game. With the infield drawn in, Adam Del Rio smacks a line drive single to right center to score Glavin for the GWRBI.

The league has been put on notice...the Astros come to play. South End went to Chelsea and played their hearts out and came out with a 4-3 win over a tough Revere team. Joey "Eyeball" Ortiz was amazing throwing 7 strong innings striking out 10 batters, including the final 3 batters in the 7th inning.

Roger Peguero was 1 for 3 with a sac fly in the 1st inning to start the scoring. Carl Rodriguez drove in a run in the 4th with a single to left and the game winning run on a sac fly to center field in the 6th inning.

On a beautiful day for baseball, Tom Levett throws a complete game gem, picking up his 6th win of the season.

Rockies started the scoring in the 2nd on a Ned Coffee solo shot to centerfield. McKay ties things up in the 5th on a sac fly w 1 out and the bases loaded. On the throw to the plate, Drew Tambling tried advancing to 3rd but was cut down to end the threat.

In the bottom of the 7th, Kevin Spitz led off the inning with a single and was lifted for the pinch runner Jay Lapointe. Ned Coffee then worked a walk, followed by a sacrifice bunt by Dan Jalbert which was bobbled by the pitcher and everyone was safe. McKay calls on Karl to relieve their starter Michael to face Aj Bucciarelli. First pitch he sees he singles over the center fielders head for the walk off win.

Sean Glavin chips in w a 2-3 day and 2 doubles.

Revere, MA - Chris Deane's solo Home Run in the sixth tied it and Joey Eugenio added the game winning RBI in the eighth as Malden came from behind to beat Revere, 3-2.

Evan Tardugno (4-1) pitched a complete game as he struck out six and walked a batter over his eight innings of work.

Revere got a RBI base hit from Chris Santosusso, who finished 2-for-3, and a Sacrifice Fly from Adam Del Rio to account for all their runs in the fourth.

Kevin Christina and Marshal Miller (2-2) pitched well for Revere.

Malden, MA - Jason Paul pitched six solid innings as the Malden Bulldogs win their fourth straight game, 4-1 over the Revere Rockies.

Paul (2-0) gave up just one run on two hits while striking out six. Patrick Shanahan came on and recorded his first save of 2010 as he struck out the side in his inning of work.

Tom Englehardt paced the Bulldog offense as he was 2-for-3 with a game tying solo Home Run in the second. Jonathan Pollard also knoced in a run as he went 1-for-2 with a walk.

Glavin continues hit hot hitting with 2 more hits and 2 RBI. Closey knocked in 2 on the day as well. Chris Smart also had two hits.

Scarfo laced a double to knock in the SH run for the Hornets.

Kevin Christina picks up his first win as a Rockie throwing 9in allowing only 3 hits and Troy Sainsbury works a clean 10th.

Gary Moran led off the top of the 10th with a single, stole second and Ned Coffee (2-5 on the day) drove him in for the GWRBI.

Clang threw well for the A's and also went 9in allowing 5 hits.

Defense all around was solid with Von Harten making a Top 10 play robbing Aj Bucciarelli.
