The Mets jumped out to an early 3-0 lead. Pitcher Dan Hamilos settled in and kept the Mets at bay long enough for the Grays bats to explode. Entering the top of the seventh, Hamilos was enjoying an 8-4 lead with one out when the Mets suddenly went on the attack with 5 runs featuring a 3 run homer by Russo. Trailing 9-8 in the bottom of the seventh the grays hit 4 straight singles, the last by Hamilos, for a walk-off win.....WOW!

John Favaloro records 5th complete game victory after Orioles rally in the bottom of the 7th keyed by Chris Gobeille's 2-run single. Dan O'Driscoll drove in the winning run - well sort of. Good pitching by the Mets. Rob Russo went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Mets.
