The Townies pulled out a victory in a phenominally pitched and well-played game as Paul Tuccelli went the distance for the win giving up just one unearned run on four hits. The Townies belted out 11 hits but could only muster two runs as the Red Sox made some nice defensive plays including throwing out two runners at the plate. |

Bill Carlezon picked up the win with the help of a balanced, 11 hit attack. David Lee was 2-3 with 2 rbis, Greg Bromley was 2-2, 2 rbis, Mark Moise was 1-1, BB, HP, 2R and 3 stolen bases. Joe Careccia, just called up from the Albany farm team, went 1-2 and made a nifty doubleplay.
Don Willis hit a long triple for Brockton.
