It came down to the 23rd inning of the day, 41st innings of the weekend. The Pack held a 1-run lead, bottom of the 7th, against the defending National Div. World Series Champs. Pacino hung tough with a lineup of ex-MLB player Tony Walker and several AA/AAA players on a 25 man roster. Russ Ward came in in the 6th to get the 'Pack 3 outs closer to the Final. Leading off the bottom of the seventh, Ward was squeezed by the plate ump, walking the leadoff batter. A SB and WP later, the 40's tied the score on a sac fly. Squeezed again, Ward walked the #3 batter to face Walker. After a SB, we put Walker on intentionally. The #5 batter than hit a deep drive to right center that Rousseau could not get under. Roo picked up the ball, fired to Bessette in short right who rifled home to cut down the potential winning run. Next batter hit a shot off 3Bs glove to SS who threw to 1B on a bounce but the 1B couldn't scoop and winning run walked in from 3B
