Breault earned his 1st MABL playoff victory as the Mocha Rays clinch game 5, 2-1 over the A's with 1 earned run in 9 innings. retiring 15 of 17 batters at one stretch.
A's would jump out in 1st with a 1-0 lead and holding that til the 5th. Pizarro would single home Yee, who pinched ran for Sullivan. not till bottom of the 9th would Walker lead off single and Yee's single moving him to 3rd. Chand would collect his 2nd hit of the game in walk-off fashion. Defense and timely hitting was the story to this game. cahiil had 2 hits and Manager Tyler Ferdinand would find the bases twice. A's Christian would also pitch 9 innings |

OKeefe twirls CG shutout to give Athletics 1-0 series lead over #1 Mocka Rays
Brett O'Keefe surrendered only 3 hits, and the Athletics defense turned 2 double plays on the game, as O'Keefe efficiently kept the top offense in the league at bay.
The Athletics scored 2 in the top of the first to set the tone, on an RBI SAC fly by Tapper, and an error by the Mocka Rays. The As blew it open in the 4th, however, plating 5 runs on 5 hits.
Christian and Tessari led the way for the As with 2 hits and 2 runs each.
For the Mocka Rays, manager Tyler Ferdinand collected all 3 hits. |

Brett OKeefe threw 5 innings and allowed 4 hits, 3ER while tallying 7 Ks. Rookie Alec Christian came in for the 2 inning save, recording 3 Ks of his own.
The Athletics put up 4 runs in the 3rd, thanks to RBI's by Christian and Tapper, and Cote.
The Marlins put up 3 runs in the 5th to cut the As lead to 1, thanks to a timely 2B by Leslies and RBIs by Batista and Twiss. The As, however, got an insurance run in the 7th thanks to an RBI 2B by Alan Donaruma.
In addition to getting the save, Alec Christian paced the As at the plate going 1-2 with a 3B, 1 RBI, and 2 BB.

The A’s topped the Surgeons 6-0 behind a commanding performance on the mound from Jason Kurtz, who yielded just 4 hits and K’ed 5
The A’s struck in the 1st with a 2-RBI single from McIntyre. A Donaruma single plated Pirman in the 2nd to make it 3-0.
The A’s tacked on 3 more in the 5th, with RBI from Christian, Tapper, and Asdornvuttikrai.
Tessari, Tapper, and MacNeil had multi-hit games for the A’s, while Christian smacked two doubles. |
