CAMBRIDGE SPINNERS WIN TITLE! The Spinners won the 2019 league championship with a 12-1 win over the Boston Sox Wednesday night to win the series three games to two. Chris Muse-Fisher pitched a complete game, giving up one run on four hits while striking out eight. Ryan Feeney and Colin Sullivan led the offense with three hits each. Feeney drove in four runs and Sullivan scored three times. Brahiam Ortega walked and scored the lone Sox run in the third on a Rommel Peguero single. Congratulations to the Cambridge Spinners on their third league championship and to the Boston Sox on a great season.

The Spinners take game three of the finals 5-0 and a 2-1 series lead. Pat Donahoe pitched a complete game shutout, giving up just three hits while striking out six. Nick Sieber led the offense with three hits and four different Cambridge batters drove in runs. The Spinners will look to close out the series Monday night.

The Spinners take game two of the finals with a 12-5 win in Cambridge Friday night. Alex Benson led the offense with three hits and Mark Killoren's two-run home run in the fourth inning gave Cambridge a commanding lead. Chris Muse-Fisher pitched five shutout innings, giving up just one hit while striking out seven. The Sox rallied for five runs in the bottom of the seventh. Brendan Pounds and Omar Ortiz drove in two runs apiece.
