Brett O'Keefe tossed a complete game shutout, fanning 4 and yielding just 4 hits. O'Keefe also helped his own cause with a strong day at the dish (2-3, 2B, 3R).
The A's also received strong offensive performances from Matt Cote (3-4, 2B, 4 RBI); Bo McIntyre (4-4, 2B, RBI); and Alan Donaruma and Matt MacNeil (both 2-4, R).

South Shore Grays 2, Singing Surgeons 1
The Grays win a pitchers duel in game 2 of the double header. Tom Plumitallo and Avery Ford battled all game with each throwing a CG for their respective teams. Plumitallo gave up 1 run on 7 hits over 7 to get the win.
The Surgeons took an early 1-0 lead in the 2nd inning on a 2 out base hit. Ford had silenced the Grays at bats for the first half of the game until Bret Samboy opened up the offense with an opposite field solo shot in the 4th. Plumitallo followed with a single and was eventually driven in by Brett Nowlin a few batters later.
The Gray's have finally climbed out of their early season 1-6 hole and now sit at 10-10 on the season. They're back at it again Tuesday against the Sox in Somerville. |

South Shore Grays 8, Singing Surgeons 0
Brian Maloney dominated on the mound throwing a CG shutout allowing 1 hit and striking out 13. Maloney was nearly unhittable as he continues his dominant 2019.
The Grays offense scored 5 in the first which would prove to be all that was needed. Danny Concessi and Trey Benitez had 3 and 2 hits respectfully and Zac Stiffler drove in 2 run. |

Cambridge Spinners 7, Singing Surgeons 3
The Spinners continued their push towards first place with a 7-3 victory over the Singing Surgeons. Peter Allain led the offense with a double and drove in two runs. Ryan Feeney added a triple and an RBI to help the Cambridge bats.
Nick Bonofiglio earned the win, pitching four inings and striking out seven. Feneney and Pat Donahoe came on in relief.
Reide Dion had a single and scored twice for the Singing Surgeons. |

Cambridge found their way back into the win column with a 4-0 shutout win over the Singing Surgeons. Luc Kocher earned the win, pitching five shutout innings with two strikeouts. Chris Muse-Fisher came on in relief with five strikeouts.
Mark Killoren singled and later scored on a Mike Knell triple to put the Spinners on the board. Knell later scored on a Colin Sullivan single. The Spinners added insurance with a Mike Tufo two-run double in the seventh.
Five Singing Surgeons had hits in the losing effort. |

Down by a run with 2 out and no one on in the bottom of the 7th, the Singing Surgeons rallied for a dramatic come from behind win. Patrick Forelli doubled with 2 out in the 7th and then Jackson Forelli doubled to score his brother to tie the game at 1. Michael Bond pinch hit with a single to open the bottom of the 8th. Jesse Alexander pinch ran and scored the winning run on a 2 out line drive single to left by Kenny Manero. Avery Ford was outstanding pitching all 8 innings for the Singing Surgeons for the complete game victory allowing only 2 hits and no earned runs all day. |

Jackson Forelli hit a little league home run and then followed it up with a big league bomb to lead the Singing Surgeons to victory. Jackson was 3 for 3 with a single, 2B, HR, 2 Runs and 4 RBIs on the day. Ken Manero pitched a complete game with 8 k's to secure the victory for the Singing Surgeons. Nick Radcliffe hit a 2 run home run for the Red Sox. |

Singing Surgeons 6, Waltham Cutters 4
On a record hot day in Carlisle in July, The Singing Surgeons and the Cutters battled back and forth all day; The Singing Surgeons heated up late for the win by scoring 6 runs over the 5th & 6th innings. Avery Ford had a 2B, 2 RBI and recorded the win in relief. Patrick Forelli had 2 hits, 2 RBIs, 2 SBs and scored a run while catching in 100 degree heat all day. Ken Manero pitched well over 5 frames and also contributed a clutch hit for an RBI and scored the tying run in the 6th. Matt Coloian doubled to start a 4 run rally for the Singing Surgeons in the 6th that led to the victory. |
