In the deciding game of a three game series, the Royals beat the Senators 5-2 behind a great pitching performance by Brian Burke who went the distance giving up 2 runs on 6 hits with 1 walk and 9 strikeouts. Brian Williams (2-3, R, SB) and Scott Weber (2-3, R, 3B, RBI) led the offense and the Royals advance to the South Division semifinals to face off against the winner of the Cubs/Mariners series.

The Royals added one more in the 5th on an RBI fielders choice by Steve Rivela. Game 3 takes place Tuesday in Dedham.
