Tyler Brodeur spun a 2 hit complete game, allowing only 1 unearned run while K-ing 5 and retiring the last 9 batters of the game in order.

The offense was propelled by Cameron Fiorentino 3-5, HR, 1 Run, 2 RBI, and Colin Fiorentino 3-5, 2B, and 3 RBI. Joey Corsi was 2-3 with a double.

For the Gators Jay Thomas and Andrew Thibault had hits.

The Gators return to action Wednesday against Malden, while Cmass while host Norfolk County on Thursday.

The Royals ended the regular season winning their 13th straight game as they defeated the defending CABL champs the Metro Gators by a score of 8-2. Justin Chere got the start and picked up the win going 6 innings, giving up 2 runs on 8 hits with no walks and 3 Ks. The Royals offense pounded out 8 runs on 12 hits led by Mike Ahearn (3-4, 2R, 2B, RBI), Mike McKie (3-4, RBI), and Dominic Coviello (2-3, R).

LEXINGTON -- The Gators hit the bats early plating three in the first off DJ Goldberg who found out he was starting the game 10 minutes before it started thanks to scheduled starter Jared Clement not showing up, but through prayer & good karma the Mariners persevered and never gave up. Matt Boulter had quite the day at the plate hitting a double & triple as the Mariners secured a comeback victory over a Gators squad abandoned by their leader Mike Gavin who also was a no-show

In the second game of the DH, the Braves bounced back from a epic collapse to beat the Gators 6-1. David Short improved to 2-0 giving up only 2 hits through 5 innings and striking out 4. The braves spread the wealth with 7 braves recording hits. Claudio Valenca racked up two of them on his way to a 2-3 day with a RBI

Giants get a much needed win against the 2016 CABL champion Gators at Breed.

Mark Blake (2-2) shined fanning 13 Gators over five and two thirds innings for his second win of the season. Mark Infurna picked up his, and the Giants' first save of the year through a clean inning and a third.

Justin Oblenes, Bryan Maynard, Robert Kimber and Joe Kasper each plated a RBI.

Giants get the next two weeks off before a North vs South Shore pairing on July 9th in Walpole.
