In the light rain in Medway, the Braves took an early 5-1 lead. But the Cardinals came back with 7 runs of their own in the bottom of the 3rd which led them to the 9-5 victory. Tommy Langmeyer got the win going 6 1/3 innings. Big Wade Krejdovsky, in his first game of the season, led the way with 2 doubles and 3 RBI. Chris Atchue, Kevin Donfield, and Tommy Langmeyer also had 2 hits each. In this game 1 of the DH, the Cardinals were actually the home team. |

The Cardinals finally broke into the Win column with a 10-0 victory over the A's. On the mound, Tommy Langmeyer threw 8 shutout innings giving up just 3 hits. Nick Rotolo finished up the combined shutout with back to back Ks. Chris Atchue and Kevin Donfield both had 3 hits and 2 RBIs each while Scott Johnson, Nick Rotolo, and Mark Cullen had 2 hits apiece as the Cardinals banged out 15 hits. |

After the Cardinals jumped to a quick 1-0 lead in the top of the first on a walk and SB by Pete Anderson, a single by John Beloff, and an RBI single by Scott Johnson, Graham Gaudette took over the game. Graham threw no hit ball over the next 4 innings to get the win. And Graham continue to rake at the plate pacing the 14 hit attack with 2 hits. Exy, Veith, and McGinnis also chipped in 2 hits a piece. |
