Cannon overcomes a 6 run deficit to win their first BPL championship in walk off style.

Palmer has a big 3rd and 4th to go up 7-1 but Cannon's Ryan Bowen comes in relief and does awesome to stop the offense and give Cannon a chance.

After chipping away for a run in the 4th, Colon and Flannery start the 5th with singles. McCue bombs a 2 run double and later scores on Clemente's sac fly. Williams comes in relief in the 6th to stop a Cannon rally and preserve the lead.

Then the 7th. 2 walks and a hbp load the bases with no out. Sabatino singles to drive in a run. Gardner walks to tie the game, still with no out. Ivan Colon (a Cannon lifer who won't play anywhere else) comes up with the sac fly to win it all.

Cannon strikes early with rbi singles by Waterhouse and Gardner in the first to drive in McCue and Cotter (2 hits each on the night).

They plate 2 more in the second when Flannery and Colon score with hits by McCue and Cotter. Phelan leads of the bottom of 3 with a triple and is driven home by Pierce, but Jackson closes out the inning with a 6-4-3.

Cannon puts 2 more across in the 4th when Flannery and Colon score again on fielders choices by Cotter an Clemente. Palmer chips back with 2 more on a Seropian sac fly and a fielders choice for Alexopolous.

Cannon adds some insurance in the 7th with a big 2rbi single by Sabatino. Dumas and Batchelor close out the 6th and 7th to shut Palmer down.

Game 5 tomorrow at Fallon.

Williams and Hueston duel it out on the mound all game. Williams didn't yield a baserunner until the fourth and Palmer had runners in scoring position in five of the seven innings but Hueston comes up big to shut them down.

Newton gets his second hit of the game in the 6th. On a hit and run, Clemente lines a ball down the left field line that Carroll (3-3 on the game at he plate) lays out for and almost comes up with. The ball squirts out allowing Newton to score the first run.

Gardner and Davis lead off the 7th with singles. Colon lays down the sac bunt to move them over. Flannery then comes up with a big 2 run double for the insurance runs.

Volante has a no hitter going into the sixth to lead Cannon to the win.

Cannon's big inning comes in the 4th when Mccue leads off with a single and moves to 2nd on Newton's hbp. Cotter drives in McCue for his second rbi of the game. Newton scores from 3rd on a Waterhouse sac fly and then Clemente comes up big with a two out two run double.

After a delayed start due to the lights, Hueston tosses a one hitter through six. Cannon bats pound out 16 hits on the night en route to the series win. Big hits by Newton to drive in 3 runs, McCue to drive in 2, and Sabatino to drive in 2. Championship game 1 Thursday night at Fallon.

Palmer jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning with the help of a Pat Nicholson RBI double and never looked back. Tony Trafecanty pitched a comlete game shutout to send Palmer back to the Boston Park League CHampionship for the 2nd time in 4 years

Another back and forth game that saw the teams matching each other runs for runs. Campion and Libby battled hard on the mound while Cannon finally took a lead in the fourth only to see ADSL take the lead back in the 6th.

McCue leads off the 7th with a walk and makes it second on the wild pitch. Newton singles him to third and then Cotter's hard hit ball to second ties the game. Newton hustles to make it safely into second. With no outs, Waterhouse lays down a sac bunt that Blandino fields and soars the throw into right for the winning run to cross. Game 4 tomorrow.

Game 2: After a walk-off comeback victory by Cannon in game 1 both teams were geared up for game 2.

Early offensive struggles by both teams led to a 1-1 tie after four innings. Cannon then jumped out to a 3-1 lead in the 5th on an 2-run single by Mike Waterhouse. The following inning, Cannon took advantage of ADSL miscues to take a late 6-1 lead.

However, ADSL answered big time in the bottom of the 6th, scoring eight runs as Cannon returned the favor with errors of their own. ADSL's 6th inning consisted of 8 runs, 5 hits, 2 walks, a steal of home and reaching/scoring on three Cannon errors.

Jonathan Richard picked up the win for ADSL, pitching well despite the defense giving extra outs. Mike Muse pitched the 7th for the save to close out the comeback victory to even the series at 1-1.

Reid Jackson pitched well on the night, although ran into trouble in the 6th inning which was the difference in the game. Game 3 Monday night.

PJ Guthro and Scott Hampe both pitch complete game gems as the two teams battled in Game 2 of the first round of playoffs. Palmer jumped out to a 1-0 lead after JP Songin had a big 2-out RBI hit through the hole on the right side of the infield in the top of the 3rd inning. Grossman Marketing collected a two-run RBI bases loadded single in the bottom of the 5th from Peter Cimini when he dumped a ball into short right field. Palmer responded quickly next inning with a Shane Stande line drive to right field tying the game. Matt Seropian then laced a one-hop groundball back to the pitcher, Hampe's throw went into centerfield allowing the go ahead run to score. Guthro shut down Grossman Marketing in the bottom half of the inning to clinch the victory and send Palmer into game 3 with a 2-0 series lead.

An ugly game defensively by both teams overshadowed strong pitching from Joe Lucier (Palmer) and Brett Urban (Grossman). Grossman jumped out in the top of the 1st inning due to a couple of Palmer errors to a 4-run lead. Palmer answers a few innings later in the bottom of the 4th inning with hits and Grossman errors. Palmer scored 7 in the 4th to take a 7-4 lead until the top of the 6th. Grossman ties with a couple walks and hits. Palmer and Grossman go into the 7th inning tied, Grossman leaves a man in scoring position in the top half of the inning. Palmer loads the bases in the bottom of the 7th and with one out, Jim Pierce hits a line drive to left field to walk off with the Game 1 victory. Frank Alexopulous (3 hits), Jake Cappello (2 hits), Jim Pierce (2 hits), and Scott Carroll (2 hits) leads Palmer offensively throughout the game with multiple hits. Grossman's offense was led by Rick Salvucci (4 hits) and Tim Reinhardt (2 hits)

Cannon jumps out quick with 3 consecutive hits and Hueston seemed in control. Then ADSL came back in the 3rd with five straight hits to jump ahead with six runs. Liffers had kept things quiet till the 5th. Cannon then chipped back with 2 runs on hits and errors. Hueston kept ADSL off the bases through the top of the 6th. With one out, Liffers hits Colon to load the bases. Next he hits Flannery to bring Cannon within two. Tierney comes in to face McCue who lines a single to right which gets by the outfielder scoring all 3 aboard and giving Cannon the lead. Top seven, Hueston gives up a lead off single to Bartlett. Batchelor comes in and Pena bunts him to second and is only out at first when Flannery dives back and tags the bag. With 2 out, Bartlett comes home on a double to tie the game. In the bottom, Waterhouse singles and goes to second on Sabatinos single. With 2 out, Colon bombs the game winner into the gap for the walk off

The play-in game between ADSL & TJO was scoreless through three innings, then ADSL broke the tie in the top of the 4th with five runs, on five hits.

Colton, Collins, Muse and Cleary each had two hits a piece for ADSL, leading the offense on the night. Eli Libby went the distance, pitching a complete game and working out of a few potential rallies by TJO.

Franz Strassmann pitches six innings picking up the win. Mat Cedrone pitches the 7th in his park league debut.

Pete Cimini has the big hit with a bases clearing double in the first. Salvucci, Tenaglia and Cimini have multi-hit games.

Sanjugo has three hits for the Padres including a 2 RBI triple.
