Cannon's defense steps up in Game 5 and the bats came alive in the fourth to give Hueston all the run support he would need. Big multi hit games by Kiley, Colon, and Clemente helped push runs across and get Cannon to game 6.

Hueston throws a CG gem with 7 k's.

Carlson pitches well and plays good defense to take game 3. Cannon keeps the game close even with their mistakes and the calls that never seemed to go their way.

Cannon hopped on the first of 5 Carlson pitchers for 3 runs in the second with five hits and a sac fly. Picked up another run in the fourth after Flannery's (2-3, on base 4 times) lead off double.

Rojas then makes it interesting for about 8 minutes with a bases clearing double in the 5th to get Carlson within 1. Cannon doesn't give it a chance as they pounce for 6 runs right away. Big hits by Newton, Davis (2-2, 3 rbi, on base all 5 times), Greskoff and Sabatino push the game out of reach.

Timely hitting and costly Cannon errors led to a big 4th inning for Carlson. Greskoff's bases clearing double in the fifth brought Cannon close but good defense in the last two innings helped secure the win for Carlson.

Steve Hueston throws a gem to get Cannon into the championship series. Great defense by Newton and Sabatino all game kept any Palmer rally at bay.

Cannon gets the first run in the fourth on Flannery's sac fly that drove in Clemente (2-3, double). In the fifth, after singles by Davis and Boek, Greskoff (2-3, 2 doubles) bombs a 3-0 pitch from Henry into right center plating 2 runs and giving a huge cushion.

Songin reaches on an error in the 6th and scores their only run on Alexopolous' double.

We'll see if Hueston can do it again tonight.

Cannon took control of the game in the 2nd ining until Palmer bats came alive like they have all season and smacked around Cannon pitching. Palmer's come back was highlighted by JP Songin's game tying bases clearing triple that was followed by the game winning line shot by catcher Shane Strande in the bottom of the 6th. Tony Trafecanty came in and closed the door for Palmer...It comes down to one game to face Calson in the finals. For once Palmer actually hit the ball this series.

Another exciting action packed extra inning battle featuring plenty of offense and plenty of errors. The lead changes hands several times and Carlson pushes across a pair in the 8th to win the game and the series.

Malloy has a huge night for Grossman with four hits and three runs. Andruskvich has a bases clearing triple and Salvucci has a clutch 2 RBI double.

But Carlson counters with big offensive nights from Alvarez, Malaret and Gonzalez and the Carlson bats take advantage of a number of Grossman miscues.

In a game of defensive extremes, both teams make exceptional plays as well as costly errors before Carlson scores the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the 9th on a throwing error. Both teams also get clutch hitting as the lead goes back and forth several times.

Thater for Grossman and Gomez for Carlson battle it out on the hill with Carlson scoring the only run going into the 6th inning. Rosario and Seip both throw well in relief.

Malloy, Ferbert and Salvucci have clutch hits for Grossman with Malloy's ball one of the longest hit at Fallon in a long time almost going out in centerfield.

Dume, Rojas and Malaret are on base all game for Carlson with the speed of Dume the difference in the game.

An exciting game for the players; an entertaining game for the fans...

Another battle as palmer jumped out to a lead in the fourth. Cannon bounces back to take the lead on 5 hits and rbi's by Sabatino, Newton, and Flannery.

Nicholson and Alexopolous start the 5th by reaching on an error and a hit and Stande drives in a run bringing a pitching change for Cannon. With two outs, Phelan gets a key hit to left to give the lead back to Palmer.

Sabatino(3-3,two runs)leads off the 6th by beating out a hit. The ensuing throw goes out of play and a fielders choice moves him to 3rd. He was then able to beat out a grounder for a close play at the plate to tie the game. Newton advanced to second on the play and then promptly stole third. Colon walks and then steals second. Mccue gets a big hit to drive in Newton and put Cannon ahead. With the bases loaded, Greskoff (3-4) drives in the insurance run. Volante comes back out for the 7th and closes the door.

Four seeing eye hits in the seventh made things interesting but Cannon keeps the trying run on third to secure the win. Good pitching and defense on both sides kept the game close all night.

Hampe K's 6 and scatters 5 hits and a walk as Grossman takes game one 3-2.

Carlson has runners in scoring position in the 5th, 6th and 7th but Hampe gets key strikeouts to end the threats.

Lapaglia and Andruskevich have clutch RBI's and Grossman gets a little help from the Carlson defense.

Cannon jumps out early but can't hold the lead after a few bloop hits that cost someone a lot of money to buy and a few errors. A late game rally fell short with the tying run stuck on third with one out.
