Ronnie Wallace pitched seven strong innings Wednesday night, allowing just two hits and striking out ten as the Testa Bombers topped the Mooney Dental Tanners at Maplewood Field.
For the Bombers, Willie Allen collected four hits, Anthony Serino and Josh Klimkiewicz both had two apiece and three others went 2-for-4.

Luke Begley reached to lead off the 5th on his second hit of the night with a soft liner over the 3rd baseman. After stealing second, he was sacrificed to 3rd on a deep flyball off the bat of Sam Sager and then scored on a groundout by Sean Callahan. The manufactured run proved to be the winning run. Steven Tramontozzi chippped in with 2 hits and 2 RBI. Steve Busby knocked in the other run on a groundout. Karl Alexander continued to pitch well by giving up 3 runs (1 earned) in 7 strong innings. The win improves his overall record to 3-3.
Carlton Lentini had 3 hits and 2 RBI for the Tanners out of the leadoff spot. |

Monday night at Maplewood Field, Nate Witkowski pitched seven strong innings in the Bombers 5-1 win over the Mooney Dental Tanners. He allowed just two hits while striking out ten. Stan DeMartinis (2-for-3) swattted his second home run of the season, and Anthony Serino reached base three times while collecting two hits. |

Bulldogs came back from a 4-0 deficit and a 11 hit Mooney attack with some late magic in 8 innings.
Keegan DeNapoli had two hits and an rbi to help build the 4-0 lead.
Bulldogs chipped away with rbi's from Bill Cataldo and Andy Gagnon. In the 7th the Bulldogs got rbi's from Trevor Manzi and Zac Talis to tie the game after Doug Dellorfon doubled and Cataldo singled.
In the 8th Gagnon's leadoff double off of the center field fence was the key hit and he eventually came home on a wild pitch for the game winner.
Nick Kelley earned his first win with 4 one hit scoreless innings pitched.

Keegan DeNapoli's home run put Mooney up 2-1 in the sixth but the Bulldogs came back to tie in the bottom of the inning on Alex Fischer's flair to right field scoring Cataldo who had singled and stole second.
Bulldogs walked off with the win when Andrew Bishop had a pinch hit double and scored on Andy Gagnon's sacrifice fly.
Dan Eisenberg got his first win with a 1.1 IP scoreless relief appearance.

Pete Frates hit his second home run of the season and scored and drove in three runs to lead Lexington to a 11-1 win over Mooney Monday night.
Jeff Vigurs, Matt McEvoy and Jimmy Hughes each drove in two runs. Dan Capra had a single, double and triple and scored twice.
Sam Finn, 3-0, pitched five innings, allowing two hits and struck out five. Tyler Kendrick pitched the final two innings and struck out three.
Keegan DeNapoli had two hits and scored Mooney's only run. |
