The lone run of the game came off the bat of Joe Sheehan with a homerun to lead off the top of the 5th inning for Medford. Dan Chaisson and Dan Renzella had the two hits for the Reds.

Andrew Bishop had two 2 out RBI singles to put the Bulldogs ahead 2-1 and Derek Cotini only allowed 2 hits in 5.2 innings and struck out 9.

Medford came came to make it close in the 6th on Mike Kalfopoulos's two run double but Dan Eisenberg closed the door with a 1.1 inning save. Dan had two wins and a save in the last week.

Mike Burgoyne lead the game off with a home run.

Lexington set league season highs in runs and hits and won its 20th game of the season Friday at Playstead Park.
Justin Wright hit his league leading third home run, a three run shot in the second. Chaz Agrillo hit his first, also a three run blast, his first of the season and the teams 12th.
Wright, Agrillo, Matt McEvoy, Ross Curley and Tommy Haugh each had three RBI.
Drew Brzozowski, 4-0, pitched five innings of two-hit ball with five strikeouts.
Mike Kalfopoulos had two hits for Medford.

Game Summary:
The Chiefs scored six times in the bottom of the first inning with Matt Boleski's third homer of the season, a three run shot, as the key. Mike Baillargeon had a RBI double in the inning and Justin Crisafulli had a RBI single. Boleski knocked in the Chiefs final two runs with a sixth inning single, giving him five RBI's in the game. Tony Deshler had two hits for the Chiefs as Jared Freni recorded his fifth win of the season.
Mike Burgoyne had two hits, scored two runs, and stole two bases for the Americans.

Dan Graham and Pete Frates each hit a three run home run to lead Lexington to a 7-0 win over Medford at Playstead Park Thursday.
It was the league leading third home run for each Blue Sox.
Drew Brzozowksi, 3-0, pitched six shutout innings. He gave up two hits, struck out six and walked none to earn the win.
James McConville broke up the no-hit bid with a two out single in the fourth.
