Steve Lapham throws a 1 hit gem to keep the Vipers season alive and force a game 3. He also struck out 7 while walking 2 and a hit batsmen.

The offence was lead by Mike Connolly going 3-4 with a solo blast to start the scoring in the second inning, Darwin Hernandez with 3 hits, Jose Teledano (2B, 2RBI, SB) and Mike Langston (2R) also had 2 hits each and were on base all night.

The defense was perfect on the night also led by Connolly with 6 involved putouts including 2 diving stops and a nice backhanded play in the hole to get the force at second.

Coming off a win on Sunday, Franz Strassmann rebounded for a complete Game 1 semifinals win vs the Vipers; Down 2-1 in the 5th inning, the Brewers took the lead with singles from Strassmann & Brett Rudy, an RBI hit from Josh Weinstock, and a bases loaded walk by Terry Belli; Game 2 of 3 is Wednesday.

The Brewers broke open a 1-1 tie to advance to Rd 2 Playoffs by scoring 2 runs in the 10th inning; Steve Ponte and Brett Rudy singled, Rusty Young walked, and Joe Creedon's infield bounder caused an errant throw leading to both runs; Owen Carlson and Franz Strassman shared spectacular mound work, while Elvin Bautista went the distance for the Force.
