In a hard fought game ADSL managed to squeeze out a do-or-die contest when an alert Dave O'Sullivan scored on a wild pitch from 2nd base in the top of the 7th inning. The heads-up play broke a tie created when Marvin Malaret tied the game in the bottom half of the 6th with a lead-off home run.

Walks and fielding miscues finally caught up with ADSL in the 6th as the IV pulls out the win in back to back nights. Alonzo, Fleming, and Baldassari were on base all night each scoring twice. Liendo goes the distance for his 5th win of the season.

turner picks up the win improving to 4-2. he pitched 6 solid innings allowing 1 earned run, 3 hits while striking out 7. lloyd closed in the 7th. lyons led the offense with a double and triple, driving in 2 runs. hough had 2 rbi's and magrass hit a triple to open up the game for the yard.

Last-minute starter Rich Yutkins hurled 6-plus shutout innings, and was picked up by Pat Connolly, who retired all three batters he faced with two men on for the save. Christos Ferreira(2 for 3, sac fly) knocked in 2 runs. Matt Skinner single home the other Towne run.

Playing flawless baseball - or not - was the difference as ADSL, behind Lifferts, defeated Towne ace Connolly thanks to a series of misplays. P. Cleary and O'Sullivan had hit sac flies to give ADSL and early 2-0 lead; and after Towne tied it up on a Jonasson triple, Skinner double and L. Rodriguez sac fly Towne errors helped put the winning run on the board in the 6th.
