Powered by 7 runs in the final two frames, and a solid performance by Hampe, Grossman Marketing makes another heroic late inning rally to defeat Carlson and become the 2008 Boston Park League Champions.

Grossman was led by Hayes who went 3 for 3 with 2R and 2RBI, Turner who was 2 for 4 with 2RBI and a run, and Malaguti who also went 2 for 4 with an RBI. Hampe pitched a CG for the win, giving up 4ER and striking out 8.

Feliciano, Rentas, and Vallez all had multi-hit games for Carlson.

Grossman's 3 run 1st gave them an early edge. Carlson then regained the lead on Malaret's 2R HR and 3 Grossman errors in the 3rd.

The teams entered the 7th tied 5-5. In the top half Carlson's Valerio recorded 2 quick outs before running into trouble. Two hit batters, two walks, and a Reinhardt single later and Grossman had a 7-5 lead.

Grossman starter Perry was replaced by Hampe in the bottom half after walking two. Hampe hurled two quick Ks, and Carlson was down to one out.

Carlson's Alvarado then hit a 3-1 offering into the gap and it looked like the game would be level again. However Grossman SS McCabe made a fantastic relay throw from the outfield to a waiting Hayes at the plate to catch Carlson's Vallez and end the game.

For Grossman Reinhardt went 2for3 with an RBI. Perry gave up 3ER through 6 to pick up his 11th win. Hampe recorded the save.

For Carlson Malaret (3H, HR, 2RBI) and Rentas (2H) led the way.

Multi-hit games from Andruskevich(2H 4RBI), Reinhardt(2H 2R), Turner(2H 2R), and Anglin(2H 2RBI) power Grossman back from a 6-1 deficit in the 5th. Klocek pitches a complete game giving up 1ER while striking out 8 to tie the series at 2-2.

Diaz had two hits and 2RBI to lead Carlson.

After Carlson got out to a quick 4-0 lead after the first inning sparked by a 3 run home run by Jose Diaz, Grossman took advantage of six Carlson errors to slowly chip away at Carlson's lead getting to within 1 run going into the 6th. With two runners on and one out, Eric Velasquez then came in for relief and struck out both batters to get out of the inning. After two quick outs to start the 7th, Grossman earned a walk on a close pitch and then reached on an infield error followed by back to back singles to take the lead 6-5. However, Tommy Serra led off the botom of the 7th with a single followed by a sac bunt form Fabian Alicea. Marvin Malaret then hit towering double to left center tying the game. Jim Perry then came in for Grossman and with 2 outs and winning run on third, Johnny Valles earned the walk off with a single up the middle. Kenny Rivera threw well despite numerous Carlson errors.

A 4 run 3rd inning proved to be enough as Grossman held on in the series opener. Malloy led the way for Grossman with 3 hits and an RBI. Diaz had an rbi double for Carlson. Perry pitched a CG and struckout 10 while picking up his 10th win of the year.

Carlson wins the series behind Jarlin Gomez who threw a complete game shutout giving up just 2 hits with 10 strikeouts. The only run of the game was scored by Tommy Serra who singled and then stole second to lead off the bottom of the second. Carlos Alvarado then managed to squeeze a ground ball just past shortstop allowing Serra to score. Dave Liffers threw another great game for ADSL in this series. Great defense continued as well highlighted by Josue Feliciano's diving catch running back up the hill of Town Field in the top of the third.

Another pitchers battle in the series this time between Eric Velasquez and Jared Blandino. Velasquez earned the win going 6.1 with a bigtime save from Jarlin Gomez to earn the final out off of a bases loaded strikeout. Blandino threw well again going the distance for ADSL.

McCabe lead the way with 4 hits and 6 rbi, and Tenaglia and Hayes each had a multi-hit game. Perry and Anglin combined to give up 3 earned runs for Grossman.
