Tigers 10, Eire Pub Red Sox 8

 Summary | Box Score
Final 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 R H E
Tigers 2 0 0 0 7 1 0 10 9 4
Eire Pub Red Sox 0 3 0 0 5 0 0 8 6 5

Tigers win a squeaker under the Sun at Garvey, as the deciding 5th inning ended with the Tigers still up by 1, a lead they held to Victory!

Sox's "Lumpy" Letourneau smoked a HR to RF that bounced off the track, getting the Sox going in the 2nd, taking the lead thanks to some clever base running.

The 5th saw the heat start to show it's effects. The Tigers capitalized on some walks and errors with 5 hits for 7 runs, highlighted by Pane's 1st hit of the season (1st game), Murph's line-drive RBI ground rule double, and KB's 2RBI 1B to left. The Sox had a great 2-out comeback attempt in the bottom half though; 2 walks, 2 errors and 2 hits (with a nice 3B by Levesque to clear the bases) put 5 on the board with a man stranded on 3rd.

CG pitched well enough for the win, with RWlod (R-Vlod) finishing the game . Moody pitched well for the Sox absorbing a tough loss.
