The Grays ended their season with a come from behind victory over the Brewers. The Grays jumped out to an early, but short lived, lead in the first. However, the Brewers were able to score four runs off of Grays starter Ted Wroblewski. Tom Corazzini and Nick Cronin lead the way for the Brewers offense knocking in 3 out of the 4 runs.

Brewers starting pitcher Kevin Delaney pitched 6 strong innings allowing only 2 runs and striking out 5. However, the Grays were able to mount a 6 run 7th inning for the lead.

The Grays head to their first playoff berth with some momentum. The Brewers had a strong inaugural season and were in the playoff hunt until the end. They head into the off season with a lot of the tools in place to make a run in the future.

Backed by the strong pitching of starter Patrick Moreau, the Brewers kept their playoff hopes alive with a 3-2 win over the Netherfield Reds at Chelsea High. Moreau threw a complete game, giving up two runs on eight hits, while striking out four on 102 pitches. First baseman and manager Chris Dowd hit two doubles and drove in two runs in the fourth to break a 1-1 tie. Third baseman Joe Mussleman helped the Brewers get on the board first with a double that drove in a run in the first. The Brewers were also helped on offense by four fielding errors by the Reds.

In an exciting come from behind victory, the Grays came back from being 2 runs down in the final inning of the game.

The Brewers jumped to an early lead in the first inning with a home run from Chris Greeke. However, after a rough first, Grays starter Jay O'Hara was able to settle down and hold the Brewers scoreless while striking out 10.

Brewers starter Patrick Moreau had a two-hitter going until the Grays got their offense going in the 7th. Andy Pollock had the game winning hit in the exciting finish.

Kraig Moody took a no hitter into the 7th inning only to have it broken up. The Red Sox managed to hang on to get the 3-2 win vs. the Brewers. Moody still went all 7 innings to get the win. Tim Morin had a huge double in the 4th inning to clear the bases and give the Red Sox a 2-0 lead. The Sox would score again on a bunt single by Bill Ferdinand and and a costly throwing error by the Brewers pitcher allowing John Hammond to score all the way from First Base.

Cutters Offense pounded out 22 hits (3 HR's), led by Matt Selvitella 4-4 with a Grand Slam, 3r HR and 7 rbis. Cutters push across 4 in the first on a Crossman 3r triple and sac fly by Moloney. That is all Mike Fectaue would need as he scattered 2 hits in 5in pitched. Story of the day was a 128lb, 31yr old man, hitting his 1st career HR(3r HR) into the Chelsea High pool.... all 280ft of it, off of the lifeguard perch in right center field. Now only if I can get pass 3rd base with a lady!

Selvi smacks a grand slam and 3r HR, Cross 3-5 on the day, Musseelman hits bomb to left for Brewers

Matt LoPresti pitched another gem, holding the Brewers to 2 runs over 7 strong innings. Jon Naumowicz and Matt O'Hara had big hits for the Sox in a hard fought, tight ball game. Felix Villalobos stole 2 bases, scored 2 runs, and had an RBI for the Sox.

For the Brewers, Mike Devine pitched effectively over 4 innings of work and Terry MacDonald and Kevin Delaney shut down the Sox over the final 3 frames. Phil Meador had 2 hits, a stolen base, and an outstanding diving catch in center field. Joe Musselman clobbered a double in the 5th.

A's win in a come from behind effort.

Down 6-0, in the bottom of the sixth, the A's rally to score 7 runs to force extra innnings. After giving up the go ahead run in the top of the 8th, the A's rally yet again to score 2 for the victory.

Offensively, Patrick Vetter was 4 -4 with 3 RBI, Josh Misiph had 2 RBI and Nick Tapper was 2-4 including the game winning RBI.

Alan Donaruma gets a no decision, while Adam Nichols gets the win in relief.

For the Brewers, Joe Musselman went 4-5 while Chris Dowd held the A's to no runs for 5 innings en route to a no decision.



Vetter and Tapper provided the offense, while Nichols gets the W with 2 solid innings of relief.
