Jack O'Leary threw a gem of a game as the Grays went on to defeat the Astros 5-2. O'Leary pitched a complete game, giving up 0 ER's, and striking out 8.

The Grays jumped out to an early lead in the first, scoring three runs. It was a lead they would not relinquish the whole game. After the early lead, Astros pitcher Brian Gargone held the Grays scoreless until the 6th inning.

The Astros were able to draw within one by the fifth. But the Grays tacked on two insurance runs in the 6th to seal the victory. Mike Gulinello lead the offense for the Grays going 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs.

The Tigers take both ends of the double header on a hot day outlasting the 'Stros. The Tigers jumped out on top in the 2nd as Gib(2-3, 2R, 2BB) knocked in 2 with a nice liner over 2nd. The 'Stros kept it close with a run of their own in the bottom half, and Harvey kept things close until the 7th when the Tigers put the game away for good.

Wlodarczyk picked up his 8th win of the season in a relief effort of Houlding who made it thru 3 in his 2nd start of the season. Morgan pitched the final inning in his first appearance as a Tiger.

Stevens kept his hot day going with a RBI double in the 7th. Silky and Long (2-3) both scored a pair of runs, while Morgan(3-5) gave Harvey a third kneecap with a liner up the box, and JP knocked in 2 with a triple reaching base all 5 times; and Murphy got off the schneid with an RBI single to RF in the 6th.

Harvey also managed to knock in the lone Astros run of the day, scoring Vachon in the 2nd

Chad 'CG' Griffiths pitches a CG Shutout gem of a game allowing just 6 hits as the Tigers clinch the Baystate Division for the second straight year.

Scotty Stevens had a huge game offensively with the first regular season HR of his career to go with an RBI 2b and a single. KB had the GW RBI in the 3rd scoring Morgan on a nice line drive to up the middle.

Will Keim pitched valiantly for the 'Stros throwing about 130 pitches before giving way in the 6th. Mikey Byrne did his thing offensively, going 2-3 with a double.

Reds beat the Astros behind 7 strong innings from Pina. The offense for the Reds all came in the 4th inning thanks to patience at the plate from the bottom of the order and a well timed 2-rbi single from Chris Dumas.

Dumas and Greene both had multiple hit games for the Reds while the Astros got two hits a piece from Mayes, Ricupero and Byrne.

Senator starter Matt Mothander pitched 5 strong innings allowing 1 earned run on 3 hits while striking out 6. Offensively, the Senators exploded for 10 runs in the first highlighted by big hits from Matt Coyne and Mothander. Game over, right? Wrong.

The die-hard Astros stormed back in the sixth scoring 8 runs on big hits by Matt Tocci, Jon Mayes, and Tyler Walsh.

In the top of the 7th, the feisty Astros narrowed the lead to 3 and loaded the bases with no outs. In came Jonathan Rheault, the Senator closer, to force a ground out at the plate and a game ending 5-2-3 double play.

In a back and forth game, the Grays prevailed behind another strong pitching performance by Jay O'Hara (7IP, 4H, 7K). The Grays got on the board first with an RBI single by Frank Nellenback in the second inning then tacked on another run in the third.

The Astros, however, came back strong in the fourth. Micah Golshirazian knocked in 2 runs with a single to tie the game in the fourth.

In what was turning out to be a pitcher's duel, the Grays finally got to Astros' Pitcher, Eric Harvey after 5 extremely strong innings. The Grays scored three more runs in the 6th and 7th to seal the victory. Rob Prenovitz had a day going 2 for 3 with an RBI and a SB.

The Astros' Eric Harvey and the Mariners' Nick Baseel locked horns in an all out western-style gunfight on a hot and humid day at BB&N. In the end, Baseel notched the win by only allowing 2 hits to the Astros offense. Harvey was nearly as lethal, only surrendering 1 run on an RBI single by the M's Jeff Rausch.

John Hammond and Sam Delvecchio combined for a 6 for 6 day with 6 runs scored as the Eire Pub Red Sox beat the Astros 11-7.
The Astros would take a 7-6 lead in the bottom of the 6th, but the Red Sox would explode at the top of the 7th by scoring 5 runs.
Kraig Moody would go all 7 innings to pick up the win and Chris Stockbridge would steal his first base of his MABL career.

In a pitcher's duel between Neil Doherty and Eric Harvey, the Rangers prevailed 1-0. The Astros threatened in the 7th but the Rangers were saved by two great defensive plays from Chris Caprio and Chris Plant.

Neil Doherty earned the win, tossing a 3-hit shutout. Chris Plant scored the Rangers' lone run on a Davin Wilfrid single. Chris Caprio and Paul Bracco each contributed 3 hits to the Rangers offense.

Next week, the Rangers travel to CT to play the Senators at Beehive Field (former home to the New Britain Red Sox).

For the first time this season, the Grays were able to string together consecutive wins behind another complete game pitching performance by Jay O'Hara. Through 7 innings, O'Hara gave up only 3 hits and struck out 7.

The Grays started off scoring a run, but the Astros were able to bring it even in the bottom of the first off an RBI single by Jon Mayes. Then in the third and fourth the Grays were able to build a lead and maintain it for the win. Tad Beagley continued his torrid hitting pace going 3 for 3 with a walk. Steve Baldassari, Jay O'Hara, and Mike Gulinello each drove in a pair, and Scott Brodsky knocked a shot of a double as the Grays go on to win 8 to 2.
