Pack score 6 runs in the first innings but don't hold it was they lose in the Finals again, 10-8. Rick Meyers and George Johnson pitched on little rest and Franz Strassman had 3 hits and 3 rbis.
The team, mostly thrown together, fought a great tournament in 90 degree weather, falling one game short of our goal. |

Franz Strassman threw a 5 hitter and the Wolfpack bats came alive for 16 hits. Multiple hits were contributed by Wolf (3-3, BB, HBP), Caputo (2-4, 2B, BB), Sperle (2-4, 2B), Myers (2-4), and Marden (2-3, BB). |

The Pack jumped out early on the Giants with 4 in the first highlighted by a 3-run double by Franz Strassman. Rich Erwin pitched a complete game the Boston moved onto the Semi-Finals. |

Boston Wolfpack 9, St. Louis Bandits 5
Joe Sperle spun a no-hitter into the 5th and the Pack's bats whacked out 12 hits in Game 3 of the Pool Round. Franz Strassman threw two runners out at the plate from deep left field to kill the Bandit's rallies.
Russ Ward (2-3, 3B, BB) and Kevin Marden (2-4, 2B)led the attack and Strassman beat out and infield squibbler for his first hit of the tournament. |

The Pack got swept away by the Waveland Cubs and suffered their first loss of the tourney. The offensive star was Paul Rousseau who was 3-4, 2B, and Joe Sperle 2-4, 2B. George Johnson took the loss for Boston. |

Boston breaks open a pitchers duel in the 8th on four straight singles and an error and come away with a well earned victory in game one of the Kick Off Classic.
Rick Myers pitched a complete game shut out, pitching out of jams in 4 innings. The offense was led by Steve Wolf (3-4, BB, 4 SB), Scott Ellis (2-5, 2B, 3 RBIs), Russ Ward (2-3, 2BB, 3 RBIs), and Paul Rousseau (2-4, BB, 2B, 2 RBIs). |
