In a tremendous semi-final game that matched Jim Lee against the 2-time defending champion Vikings, the Wolfpack jumped out to a 2-0 lead only to let it slip away in one inning. The 'Pack out hit the Vikings but Jacksonville made several great defensive plays including throwing out the potential tying run at the plate and knocking down two infield grounders that would have plated a couple runs.

Kamal Asar was 2-3, 2B, 3B, and Russ Ward was 2-3, 2B, 3B. Lee pitch spectacular, allowing only 2 hits and no runs except for the dreaded 5th inning.
