As walk off with series win: The Sox got 2 in the first, on a Radcliffe single and a throwing error. The As cut the lead in half in the 5th, with Muollo singling in McIntyre. The Sox racked an insurance run on in the 7th, taking advantage of an As fielding error, plating Lanane, who had reached on a single. The long trip to Middleboro proved worthwhile for the Spinners as Cambridge beat the Red Sox 6-2 and clinched a playoff spot. Nick Sieber had three hits and scored twice, while Alex Benson drove in two runs. Luc Kocher earned the win, pitching five innings and giving up just six hits. Pat Clapp came on in relief to seal the win. Tyler Ferdinand led the Red Sox with three hits and scored in the fifth. Derek Pizzaro also scored for Middleboro by reaching an error.
