The Gray's had a monster day at the plate scoring 15 runs on 17 hits in a mercy shortened win. The offense was led by Bret Samboy and Brett Nowlin who each had 4 hits with Samboy driving in 4 RBI. Matt Ferro added 3 hits and Phil Carignan and Paul Branche drove in 4 and 3 respectfully. Samboy shined on the mound throwing 5 1/3 innings striking out 5 to pick up his second win of the year.

Brandon Staples, the first overall pick in this year's draft, pitched a complete game for the win for the Singing Surgeons. Brandon scattered 6 hits and 2 earned runs over 7 innings, striking out 4 along the way for the Surgeons victory. Brandon was also a force at the plate with 2 hits, 2 runs scored, 2 RBIS, a 2B and a BB. The Singing Surgeons overcame an early deficit by scoring 5 runs in the 5th and 9 runs in total over the final 3 innings to complete the comeback victory. Jesse Alexander was a standout for the Surgeons with 2 hits, 2 runs scored and 2 RBIS. Dan Cooney tacked on 3 RBIS. Greg Gallivan added to the Singing Surgeons offense by going 3 for 3 with 2 runs scored, 3 RBIS, a 2B and a BB. Zach Hunt had 2 hits while scoring a run. Also contributing to the Surgeons win were Derrick Amodei who had a hit, run and a RBI and Kenny Manero who stole 2 bases and scored 2 runs.

The Spinners completed their season sweep of the Singing Surgeons 11-2 in Malden. Pat Donahoe earned the win, pitching four shutout innings with six strikeouts. Ben Russell pitched the last three innings in relief to secure the win. Colin Sullivan paced the offense with two doubles and two runs batted in, while Mark Killoren doubled and scored twice. Eight different players in the Camrbidge lineup drove in runs and a big fourth inning broke an otherwise close game wide open. Peter Jones had two hits and scored for the Singing Surgeons while Brandon Staples pitched three scoreless innings with two strikeouts.

Sox roll to their 15th win of the season with a 19-0 victory over the Singing Surgeons at Breed. Sox jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first and never looked back. Omar Ortiz, Marcos Reyes, Eric Rodriguez, and Will Peterman combined to go 8 for 12 on the day with 10 RBI and 10 runs scored. Gabriel Ramirez was in cruise control from the start allowing only one hit over 4 innings, striking out 5 on his way to his league leading 8th win of the season. A perfect relay from Brendan Pounds to Ryan Foley gunned down the final out of the game at the plate, preserving the shutout and finalizing an early stoppage after 5. Sox are back on the diamond in Middleboro at Pierce Playground to take on the Red Sox on Saturday at 1pm.

The Spinners won their second in a row and their fourth game of the season by mercy rule 17-2 Sunday in Malden. Ryan Gaffney drove in three runs on a double in the second inning and a two-run home run in the third. Mike Knell hit a double and a triple and drove in three runs and Mike Navarro drove in three runs of his own. Luc Kocher got the win, going four innings, giving up just five hits while striking out two. The Singing Surgeons scored their lone runs in the fifth inning. Jack Stockless drove in a run on a fielder's choice and Ken Manero tripled to drive in the Surgeon's second run of the inning.

The A's rode the arm of Jason Kurtz to the 4-1 victory on Friday night over the Surgeons. Kurtz tallied 11 K's on the night, while surrendering only 1 run. The A's put up 3 runs in the first, thanks to Nick Barton's 2 RBI double, and great baserunning on a wild pitch to score the third run. The A's pushed across another run in the 4th, when Bo McIntyre hit a single, and PR Paul Mahoney stole second base and scored on an error. The Surgeons threatened in the 7th; however Kurtz induced a DP ground out, and got a strikeout to end the game. Manero pitched well in the loss, and also tallied 2 hits for the Surgeons.
