In a thrilling season finale, the Spinners outlasted the Red Sox 6-3. Tied 3-3 after eight innings, Cambridge erupted for three runs to put the game out of reach. Kevin Luciano reached base on an error and scored on a Colin Sullivan single. Sullivan and Greg Megerdichian scored on an error later in the inning.
Four Spinners pitchers helped lead the pace, with Dan Blum picking up the win and Patrick Clapp picking up the save, Blum went three and a third innings, giving up two hits and striking out five.
Cambridge scored first when Megerdichian singled in a run and Bobby Maccioli drove in two runs for an early Spinners lead.
Evan Chand drove in all the Red Sox runs on a bases clearing double in the third. Thomas Leanne took the loss for the Red Sox. He pitched eight innings, striking our six. |

Cambridge Spinners 6, Middleboro Red Sox 2
The Cambridge Spinners outlasted the Middleboro Red Sox and took over first place with a 6-2 win. Chris Muse-Fisher pitched four innings of no-hit ball in relief for his first win of the season. Bryan Goosens and Marty Clarke carried the Spinners the rest of the way on the mound.
The Spinners scored first with a Ryan Feeney single that drove in Isaac Valdiviezo. They retook the lead in the third with runs from Mike Knell and Mike Tufo. Cambridge broke the game open in the fourth when Valdiviezo and Ricky Salvia drew walks and scored. Joe Tufo scored on a Mike Tufo double later in the inning.
The Red Sox scored both of their runs in the second inning, Marty Lannan and Kyle Holmberg scored to give Middleboro a brief 2-1 lead. Andrew Ferrazanni started for the Red Sox, striking out three. Nick Radcliffe came on in relief, striking out two. |

Newton Dodgers 4, Middleboro Red Sox 3
The Dodgers staged a 7th inning rally to secure a comeback victory against the Red Sox in Middleboro on Sunday afternoon. The Dodgers were without a hit going into the top of the 7th. First, Drew Cumming broke up the no-hitter with a line shot to center field. Turner and Hersh then drew consecutive walks followed by cleanup hitter Trevor Barsamian being hit by a pitch, forcing the first Dodgers run to the plate. Dave Dow hit a sacrifice fly to plate the second run and then Hersh scored on a past ball. Jeff Hall capped the rally with a single to bring in Barsamian for the go-ahed winning run. Shawn Chattin threw 7 strong innings for the Dodgers in his first start of the season, stifling several Red Sox rallies and recording 4 K's. |

The Spinners earned their tenth win of the season with a 3-0 win over the Red Sox. Colin Sullivan singled and scored in the third inning on an Isaac Valdiviezo base hit. Cambridge added two runs in the seventh with a four hit inning and runs from Mike Tufo and Greg Megerdichian.
Luc Kocher pitched five shutout innings, giving up just one hit while striking out five. Chris Muse-Fisher and Pat Clapp came on in relief to preserve the win.
Tyler Ferdinand and Kevin Husher had the two lone hits for the Red Sox. Tom Lenane pitched a complete game with five strikeouts. |

The A's didn't do much at the plate, but were able to pull out the victory against the Red Sox. The A's took advantage of 11 walks in total, and an error in the 3rd inning to seal the game. Overall, solid defense was played by the A's.
Brendan Huber threw a complete game, striking out 6 in the effort.
For the Red Sox, Braga hit a 2B off the wall in left, and Protentis provided solid relief, striking out 4 batters in 2.1 innings. |
