Palmer Club 14, E.I. Braves 10
The Braves and Palmer rivalry intensified Thursday night as playoffs loom in the near future. Moose Bussiere of Palmer and James Greeley of E.I. needed to be separated pre-game after a heated exchange. These two BPL juggernauts had their bats hot and ready for this one. Caleb Piwinicki had a valiant effort on the mound keeping Palmer in the game and Jake Sokhos would come in relief to pick up the win. The clock seemed to turn back in time as Chris Hoyt & JP Songin would combine to go 7-9 on the night. The biggest hit for both teams came from Aiden Hawley in the 6th as an inside parker would take the lead. If time was more permitting who knows what events could've transpired in what everyone knew would've been an electric 7th inning. |
