The Giants exploded with a 10-run third inning, and that cemented the game, allowing them to return to .500 baseball in the standings. The South Shore Giants mounted a remarkable come-from-behind walkoff. Down 3-2 heading into the final frame Matt McMillan and Eric Bennett singled to start the inning. On a passed ball third strike, McMillan scored to tie the game while Andy Hughes took first, and later advanced to second. With first base open, Kevin Laganza was intentionally walked. After a strikeout, Peter Pasciucco stepped up with the bases loaded and the outfield in. He ripped a lazer to center for a sac fly, scoring Bennett to win the game! For the Metro Sox, Andres Conde pitched the complete tough luck loss, racking up 11 K's.
