Boston Hogs 4, Waltham Cutters 1
The Hogs finally get things going in the right direction off the backs of Stockless and McGrath. Stockless continues his strong start to the season with 4 more inning of no run ball striking out 4 and only allowing 1 hit. McGrath had his best game of the season, making a multitude of exceptional plays at short, going 2 for 3 with a double and a rbi, if that was not enough, he also came in and got the save striking out 1.
The Cutters threatened in most inning but were not able to push more than 1 run across. Their defense outside of a few plays was outstanding, they turned multiple double plays through out the game and were able to keep the game tight for the entirety because of it.

The Marlins exploded for 7 runs in the bottom of the 2nd but then were held relatively quiet the rest of the way. Thankfully, that was more than enough for Ben Lodge as he twirled an impressive 5IP allowing 0Rs with 7Ks. The Marlins got hits from 8 different players as they move to 4-0. |

The Marlins come away with a 5-4 walk off HBP victory in a sloppy game by both sides. Touchette started on the mound for the Marlins going 3 innings and allowing just 1R with 7Ks. ONeill pitched the last 4 innings to secure the win.
Two newcomers shined for the Baby Fish: Cam Plank and Andrew Crowers. Plank got on base in all 4 of his plate appearances and was a menace on the base paths stealing 5 bases. Andrew Crowers also got on base in 3 of his 4 plate appearances and got the winning RBI by the way of the hit by pitch. |

The Marlins arms shine in a well played 2-0 game. Tobin, Touchette, Lodge, and ONeill combined for a 1 hit, 15K shutout. Batista was a spark plug at the top of the order for the Marlins getting on base in all 4 of his plate appearances, scoring both runs, and stealing a couple of bases. ONeill had 2 doubles and an RBI. |
