Both teams would threaten by loading the bases in the first inning, but neither team would score. The nail biting first would end on a great barehand play by fill-in third baseman Jose Bahamonde. Spinners starter Dan Wilson would settle down after the first, throwing a complete game shutout while giving up only 3 hits and striking out 9. Wilson improves to 8-0 on the season.

The Spinner offense was paced by Nick Bonard (3-4 2 2Bs, 2R, 1 RBI) as well as Mike “my calf hurts” Navarro, Steve Walsh and Chris Neil who each had 2 hits and at least 1 RBI. Chris Neil (2 RBI) goes yard for the first time this year.

Tigers get no time off their grueling schedule as they will face off against the Spinners again on Thursday night at 7:30.
