Jays take care of business behind their ace Kyle Biuka to sweep the series with a 5-0 win.
Buiks went the distance striking out 11, walking 2 and allowing just 3 hits. Biuks was helped out by stellar Jays D from line to line. Stewart, Pickett, Bere and Levensaler all making good plays.
Multi hit games for Happas, Levensaler, Linn, Bland and Pickett who had 3. Jays move on to semi's.
Another solid season by the White Sox who are contenders every year.

Great D & bad D. Early on Jays were noticeably tight in 1st ever playoff game but half way through the Sox tensed up. Hubbard vs Kbell, Sox strike first on RBI 2B by Tomaro & throwing error by Bell. Jays Happas (3-4, 3SB) scored first run on a wild pitch w a great jump from 3B. Levensaler (2-3) singles home Pickett to tie it. Linn singles to left & Butcher’s throw to the plate up the 1B line but Matt “007, light on the O” Ohara with a diving tag gets Levensaler by an inch, great play all round to end 5th & leave game tied as the capacity Jays crowd wished for more. More D, w runner on 2B, Jays 2B Jake Stewart makes incredible diving play on grounder to his left to get an out & save a run. Jays go ahead in 6th w doubles by Thomas, Confoey & a few errors. Kbell was playing w fire all night (7BB) but good enough for the complete game win w 7 k’s in his first ever playoff pitching performance. Game 2 tonight, Tomaro vs Buika

The White Sox pulled out a W in a must- win situation for playoff eligibility. Ahead for most of the game, they escaped a couple late inning threats and got the victory. Steve Shaw and Andrew Hubbard combined for the win on the mound and Ivan Clemente had 4 hits for the White Sox.

Griffiths pitched effectively for the Tigers, but took the loss as a couple key miscues in the field cost him. Stevens added 3 hits for the Tigers.

Cutters sweep DH on the day and end the season as the 2 seed in the Atlantic.

Wisner goes 5 string, allowing only 2 hits, strikes out 4 and allows 1 earned run.

Whitesox made things interesting in the 7th but Crossman relieve Fecteau w 1 out and was able to get consecutive ground balls to end the game.

White Sox break out of a minor offensive slump with 26 hits and 19 runs. Four players for the Sox had 4 hit games as well as 8 total players having multi hit games. Steve Shaw went the distance surrendering one earned run on 4 hits.

Jamie Matthews took the loss for the depleted Cutters. Jason Wisner reached base twice.

The Blue Jays recipe for success has been simple, good starting pitching and good defense. Well tonight the bats also decided to show up.

Stephen Shortle goes the distance on the hill allowing only 1 earned run on just 4 hits. Pickett and Confoey tracked everything in the outfield and Jake Stewart was busy at 2B all night.

Rob Linn, Kevin Bell, Jay Thomas, Colin Confoey and Nich Bland all had 2 hits each. Dana Levensaler led the squad going 3-4, 2R and 3RBI.

2 good teams square off although both were missing some key players.
Tomaro and Buika battle it out and it was scoreless until late. After Levensaler reaches on an error, Thomas, Bland and Confoey string some hits together to put up 3 runs for the Jays.
Buiks would take care of the rest as the White Sox had a few threats, the best one being Brett Rudy tagging up on a fly ball only to be thrown out at home by Colin Confoey.

after falling behind 4-0 in the first inning the Brewers battled back to defeat a tough White Sox team. Andrew Sambuco got things going with a bases clearing double followed by a diving play to keep the game tied. the big hit of the night came from Sean Delrose who singled in 2 late to provide the Brewers with some cushion. Pillitsis battled to keep his team in it on the mound and Paula picked up the win pitching 3 strong in relief.

Jamie Mathews picks up his 6th win of the season going 5in allowing only 4 hits for the Cutters. The defense behind him turns 3 double plays ending threats in 3rd 4th and 5th inning.

MVP canidate Adam Del Rio knocks in 2 on a 2 out bases loaded single to put the Cutters up 2-1 after 5 a lead they would not relinquish.

Jason Wisner earns the save going 2 innings striking out 4.

Tomaro pithces well for the White Sox allowing 4 hits striking out 5.

Jamies wins #6, Donkey knocks in GW Runs, Naumo has 2 hits for Sox

The O's bounced back with a flourish in Game 2 of the doubleheader. The first 6 hitters of the game all reached base to provide starter Bo Gillette with a lead that would not be relinquished.

Gillette and Chris Vecsey combined to scatter 4 hits, while Mike Stasio and Kevin Glass each chipped in with a pair of RBIs. Glass' second came on a long solo HR.

Stephen Shaw came out of the pen for the White Sox to pitch 7 strong relief innings, allowing only 1 ER.

Sox survive a 7th innning threat and win game 1 of the double header behind a strong outing from Tomaro. Clemente was 3-4 with an RBI 2B. Settling down after the 1st, Tomaro went the distance to go to 4-1. The weather was not cool.
