Randy Casey and Shane Steffens met today for the 2nd time this season. It was a pitching duel at its finest.

The Spinners started the game off by scoring in the 1st on a sac fly and then again in the 3rd, both off the bat of Omar Caceres. The Rangers would get one run back in the 4th inning on a throwing error to second base and they would tie the game in the 6th on a Bracco double.

The game would stay even with no real threats until the bottom of the 10 inning. With 1 out J.Tufo would walk followed by a single by Scalzo and a Mori walk. With bases loaded, team avg. leader, Bonard would ground to a shallow Katz at 2nd, who makes the play to home.

With 2 outs and the bases loaded rookie Steve Walsh had a battle with Steffans, fighting to a full count. After fouling off a few pitches Walsh would draw the game winning walk.

Both pitchers went all 10 innings. Randy Casey picks up his 5th win in a row.
