Tigers advance to Round 2 with 6-3 win over a tough Reds squad. Pitching, defense, and timely hitting lead the way in a true team victory. Congrats to Brett Nowlin and his classy Reds on a great series and season.

Tigers push across go ahead run in 6th to take Game 1, 4-3. Stevens and Murphy both had 3 hits and Tigers ride a solid effort from starter E. Harvey. J Lam'inator picks up the save pitching the 7th. Colin Johnson pitched well and also had 3 hits for the Reds.

Spinners hopped out to an early 3-0 lead in the first inning on a double by Omar Caceres. The Reds would get one back in the 5th. Kevin Brennan pitched a complete game with 6 SO and 5 hits.

Brennan picks up his 7th win of the season.

The Spinners will try to take the division tomorrow night against a hot Senators team.

The Reds utilized a veteran line-up and an excellent complete game pitching performance from Mike Knell to pick up the 5-3 win and complete the season sweep of the Tigers.

Knell chipped in at the plate with 2-rbi's in the first. Collin Johnson and Brett Nowlin added two hits and two runs scored each while Johnson also added 2-rbi's of his own.

Harvey pitched well striking out 9 in 6 innings of work for the Tigers while Field and Giblin each had 2 hits at the plate.

Reds take the win behind a complete game, 10K effort by Collin Johnson on the mound. Johnson also had a big day at the plate with 2 hits and 3 runs scored.

Dan Pope chipped in two hits of his own while playing great defense at SS, while Nowlin and Dumas would also contribute multi-hit games to the effort.

For the Grays, Potter had 2 hits, while O'Hara pitched well in defeat.

The Spinners, led by Randy Casey, beat a tough Reds team. Casey went the distance pitching a shut out until the last inning. He finished the game with 3 hits, 9 SO and 1 run.

Mike Mori reached base safely in all 4 ABs with 3 hits and a BB. Steve Walsh also had a 3 hit night with 2 RBI.

Jordan Alcott pitched in with 2 RBI.

Congrats to Nick Bonard, who continued his 18 game hitting strike on his last AB of the game.

Colin Johnson picks up the complete game win with 7 K's and 3 earned runs.

The Reds offense was paced by Ferland and Wilson with two hits a piece, while Knell and Dumas chipped in 2 rbi's each.

The Tigers offensive attack was highlighted by Mirabello who had a few hits and wreaked havoc on the bases while Scott Stevens had 3 hits including a 2B and HR.

In game 2 of the double header, Mike Knell picked up where he left off on the mound, going 4 strong innings and picking up the W. Steve Leahy came in for the 3-inning save.

The Reds jumped out to an early lead on a 2-out, 2-rbi single from Dan Wilson in the first and a solo HR from Corey Williams in the 3rd. The game opened up in the 4th when the Reds used 3 walks, a few hits and some defensive miscues to put up 5 runs.

Wilson, Nowlin and Matt Meuse of the Sens all had multi-hit games.

Solid defense was difficult to come by for both the Reds and Sens in the first game of a double header.

The Reds jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the 1st powered by 3 straight hits from the top of the order, a few walks and a few errors. The Sens surged back with 3 of their own in the bottom of the inning thanks to 3 errors by the Reds defense.

The Reds would put the game out of reach with a big 9-run inning in the 3rd and would not look back. Dan Wilson picks up the win with none of his runs being earned while Knell picks up the 3-inning save.

Offense was paced by Knell and Melia with 3-hits a piece while Chris Dumas pitched in 4 hits with a 2B, a 3B and 3-rbi.

Dan Wilson gets the win and Collin Johnson the save in a well played game early Saturday morning at the Cirlce. Reds jumped out early with 3 in the first and 2 in the second that would prove to be enough. Mike Knell (Reds) and Tyler Walsh (Tigers) had multi-hit games and Corey Williams made the defensive play of the game robbing Dan Field of a hit with a running diving catch in left.

Davin Wilfrid hit a two run triple with two outs in the fifth inning to power the Rangers past the Reds and complete the series sweep. Chris Plant went 2-for-2 and scored three times, and Neil Doherty picked up his second save of the day to close out the game.

For the Reds, Ryan Melia reached base all four times he came to the plate with two hits including a double, two walks and a run scored.

Shane Steffens outdueled Stephen Leahy, allowing only four hits over six innings and striking out three. Leahy went the distance, allowing five hits and striking out eight.

The only run of the game came in on a fielding error when Mike Ciano had trouble picking up one of Paul Bracco's two singles, allowing Jeffrey Rausch to score from third.

The Reds used two big innings marked by clutch hits and captializing on defensive miscues to break the game open on a rainy night at Chelsea HS.

In a rain-shortened game, the Rangers held on to a one run lead as a downpour ended the day at Chelsea High.

The Reds struck first with singles from Dan Pope and Steve Altmann. Pope stole second after his hit and advanced to third on Altmann's, who then stole second. The first run came home on a balk by Neil Doherty, and the second on a throwing error on a play at the plate.

The Rangers came back with their runs right away. Chad Besegai led off the inning with a walk and Paul Bracco singled him to second. Steve Pinner reached safely on a sacrifice bunt that Chris Dumas had trouble handling with the infield grass wet from the rain. Then, with one out, Jeff Rausch singled home the first two men and Pinner advanced to second. Chris Dutton then came in to pinch-run for the old guy and scored from second on a ground ball that was booted into shallow right field by second baseman Stephen Leahy to give the Rangers the lead for good
