Clutch hitting in top of the seventh for Whitman was one of the keys to victory tonight. With one out Chris Adams laced a single to right. Lapaglia reaches first on an error. Trevor Packard reaches first on a fielders choice and Adams goes to 3b.John Caliri drives in Adams with a single to left and then Andrew Don hits a gap with a double and drives in Packard and Caliri to take the lead 5-3. The other key was Connor McDonough coming in to close the game with 2k's and a popup. Christian Petta also pitched 5 strong innings while Joe Seiver came in for one but was snake bitten with a couple of fielding errors. 3 in a row for Whitman Nationals.
