Game 5 didn't disappoint. Pitching duel between 2 elite pitchers, Mcglinchy & Roman. Both of these guys battled. Kevin Kelley gets a key hit to give the senators a 1-0,lead, but the Force comes back when Malaret RBI to tie the game. Not until the top of the 6th rookie Mike Adessa gets the big hit with 2 outs to give the senators a 2-1 lead & a victory to move the Senators to the finals in there 25th year as a franchise. Hats off to the Force, they had not made it easy for the Senators the last few years.

In the deciding game 3 of the first round series between the Cambridge Cantabs and Braintree Braves, the 'Tabs emerged victorious by a score of 6-0 behind clutch pitching from Joe Perna and timely hitting from the top of the Cambridge lineup. Perna, who picked up his second win in the series (16 total IP, 0 ER), pitched brilliantly and Jim Griglun had a huge first inning 3-RBI triple to set the tone. A massive tip of the cap to the Braintree Braves who had a terrific season. These guys are as classy on/off the field as they are dominant on the diamond. And it starts with their manager, Johnny Hayes, and goes right down the roster.
