Jose Pena got the win in relief over the Dodgers on Friday at South Lawrence East. Jayson Gonazalez got the walk-off RBI single bringing home Alex Dejesus to help the padres get their second win of the season. In the top of the first, the Dodgers grabbed the early lead, 3-0. The Dodgers got things going when Alex Ahmed singled. A stolen base then moved Ahmed from first to second. Dave Dow doubled, scoring Ahmed. The Dodgers added more runs when Dow and Barsamian scored on a two-run triple by Rudy Hersh. The Padres quickly brought home two runs in the first inning and added another one in the sixth. Luis Valdez continue his hot start with two hits on tonight victory over the Dodgers.
